Apple-Metro, Inc. was formed in 1993 by its two owners, Zane Tankel and Roy Raeburn. We opened our first Applebee's in Staten Island in October 1994. Since then, we have opened an additional 30 Applebee's that include the three largest Applebee's in the World located at 50th Street between 7th Ave. & Broadway (NYC), Times Square (NYC) and Rego Park (Queens). MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAMS - The Company splits the cost of the Managerial Healthcare Program 50% / 50% and allows elections under Emp Only, Emp + Spouse, Emp +Child(ren) or Family.
Our healthcare package includes a Point-of-Service plan (network managed care services and indemnity freedom of choice services) from United Healthcare plus Rx Drug and Guardian Dental coverage. It also includes 1 x salary + $10,000 Life and AD&D Insurance policies (to a maximum of $60,000 each) paid for in full by the Company.
